There is a Family Assistance Centers being set up in the Dayton to assist families with resources………housing, food, insurance, assistance with paperwork…………kind of a one stop shop for those who lost personal belongings from the tornados.  The first FAC set up is at: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints  1500 Shiloh Springs  Dayton OH  45426 — 10 am to 6 pm Fri/Sat/Sun.

United Theological Seminary is open to Trotwood neighbors and the surrounding community today and Friday.

Restrooms and charging stations are available to the public at the seminary, which is at 4501 Denlinger Road, Trotwood.

Dayton;

Art Institute- today 11-8pm charging stations

Salem Auto Bath(across from Popeye’s)- free water, juice, Gatorade, chips, sandwiches and chicken

 

Trotwood;

DaVita Dialysis Centers- donating 4,000 gallons of portable water. Bring own containers.

While on site, visitors can recharge cell phones. Make sure to bring a photo ID with you. The showers will be available until 10 p.m. closing Friday, May 31. The Trotwood location closes at 9 p.m.

There are several locations throughout the Miami Valley where you can get free bottled water and ice.

DP&L has ice distribution centers set up at the following locations from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.:

The city of Huber Heights has also set up a series of water filling stations to assist anyone in need of potable water.  The water stations will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those visiting are asked to bring their own containers.
